Settings Overview
How the main Settings page is grouped, what each section is for, and which screens sit one step deeper.
Open Settings from the main navigation when you need to change account details, business setup, master lists, or integrations. This page is a hub rather than a form, so nothing is saved here directly; each tile takes you to the screen where that setting is managed, such as Profile, Services, or Payment Providers.
How the Page Is Grouped
- Account: Starts with Profile, where you manage your own name, appearance, passkeys, and account-level actions.
- Work Settings: Holds the lists and setup screens that feed jobs, quotes, worksheets, accounts, and the website, including services, payment methods, expense categories, customer sources, document templates, and your current job-collection area.
- Organization Management: Covers organisation information, terminology, team, roles, and activity history.
- Integrations: Takes you to email setup and payment-provider connections.
- Import Data: Contains the Cleaner Planner and Squeegee import entry points for moving existing data into Work Planner.
How to Use the Hub
- Click a tile: Each tile opens the real screen for that setting. The Settings landing page itself does not have a save button.
- Return point: This is the quickest place to jump between unrelated setup areas without going back through the main navigation each time.
- One step deeper pages: Not every settings page lives on this hub. Passkeys sits inside Profile, and feature-specific pages such as SMS Settings are opened directly when relevant.
- Business-specific screens: Many destination pages show a business selector when you manage more than one business. Changes on those pages apply to the selected business only.
What Changes Where
- Account pages: Screens such as Profile and Passkeys affect your own login and day-to-day use of the app.
- Business setup pages: Screens such as services, terminology, organisation information, and payment providers change how work is labelled, priced, communicated, or collected later.
- Import pages: Import tools create or update live records inside the chosen business, so they have an immediate operational effect once you run them.
