Organisation Information Screen
A tour of the Organisation Information screen, including working days, terminology, address details, VAT, bank details, and branding.
Open Settings > Organisation Information when you need to change the business details Work Planner uses for planning, documents, customer communication, and payment setup. If you manage more than one business, use the selector at the top before you start editing so you are changing the right record.
What Is On This Screen
- Working Days: sets which days count as working days, the shared planner hours for those days, and what should happen when a scheduled job lands on a non-working day.
- Terminology: changes the word Work Planner uses for a collection of jobs, such as round, area, route, or your own custom term.
- Bank Information: stores the bank details you may want to show on customer-facing documents or use in payment instructions.
- Company Address: holds the business address, contact details, website, and the saved geocode used by map-based features.
- VAT Registration: tells Work Planner whether this business is VAT registered and, if it is, which VAT number belongs to it.
- Branding: lets you upload or remove the business logo used across branded surfaces.
One Thing To Know Before You Save
Each card has its own Save Changes button, but the page currently submits the full Organisation Information state each time. In practice, that means if you change the address, the logo, and the working days, then click the save button on one card, Work Planner sends the whole page state together.
Where These Settings Show Up Later
- Planner and scheduling: working days, planner hours, and non-working-day handling feed into date planning and due-date calculation.
- Documents and emails: your address, logo, bank details, VAT details, and business wording can all appear again in templates and outbound communication.
- Integrations: company email and business details are reused when services such as GoCardless or email sending need organisation information.
