Worksheet Detail Screen
How the worksheet detail screen is organised, including worksheet items, actions, route information, and submission controls.
The worksheet detail screen is where planning turns into real execution. Once a worksheet exists, this page becomes the place for reordering the route, opening jobs and quotes, marking outcomes, handling communication, and submitting the worksheet when the work is finished.
Top Area
- Worksheet name: This is the route or pack name the team will recognise. It can usually be edited if the worksheet is still active.
- Assigned user: Shows who the worksheet belongs to when team assignment matters in your setup.
- Summary totals: The header area surfaces totals such as worksheet value, paid value, completion split, and payment-method breakdown so you can see the state of the day before drilling into individual items.
- Submit Worksheet: This is the final action that turns completed or missed worksheet items into ledger outcomes and can also trigger invoice creation.
Worksheet Items Area
- Select All: Lets you build a batch selection for moving or deleting worksheet items.
- Grid and list view: Choose the view that feels easiest to scan. Grid is better for card-style route reading, while list can feel cleaner when you want tighter rows.
- Worksheet item card: Each item holds the job or quote reference, address, notes, outcome, money, and quick actions relevant to that piece of work.
Toolbar Actions
- Create / Add: Use the add menu to create jobs or quotes directly from the worksheet, or add existing ones.
- Order By: Lets you switch between manual order and automatic ordering rules such as round order, due date, address, or postcode.
- Actions: Works on selected worksheet items, mainly for moving or deleting them.
- Print, email, SMS, and documents: These actions turn the worksheet into something you can send out or use operationally, rather than just keeping it as an internal list.
Route Status Area
If route optimisation is available, the worksheet shows whether an optimised route is ready, still processing, stale, or failed. When it is ready, the worksheet can surface navigation links for the next stop or the full route.
