Missed Jobs Card

How the Missed Jobs card counts missed work and how it is kept out of revenue.

Work Planner TeamMay 28, 2026

The Missed Jobs card is the Dashboard headline number for jobs marked as missed in the selected date range. It is the simplest entry point into the missed-jobs widget set, before you drill down by reason, team member, or service.

What the Card Counts

  • Count: The number of jobs marked as missed inside the selected period, based on the status date recorded at completion.
  • Total amount: The card also reports the revenue lost, which is the price the job would have charged had it been completed.
  • Excluded from revenue: Missed jobs do not contribute to the Total Revenue Card or the Revenue Trend Widget; they only show in the missed-jobs widget set.

How the Date Range Affects the Card

The card uses the Dashboard date range. Changing the period or the business filter changes which missed entries are counted. The All Time option counts every missed entry that exists for the businesses you have selected.

Why Use It

  • Spot blips: A sudden jump in the card is usually the first signal that the team needs to talk through what happened that day or week.
  • Compare across businesses: Use the business filter to compare missed-job rates between businesses you operate.
