How the Missed Revenue Trend chart shows revenue lost to missed jobs over time.
Missed Revenue Trend is the line chart version of the missed-jobs story. Instead of a single headline number, it shows how revenue lost to missed jobs moves across the selected period, so you can see whether things are getting better or worse over time.
How the Grouping Works
- Shorter periods: The chart groups missed revenue day by day for shorter date ranges.
- Longer periods: For longer ranges, Work Planner switches to monthly grouping to keep the chart readable.
- All Time: This also uses monthly grouping.
What It Is Plotting
- Missed revenue: The summed price of jobs marked as missed, dated by the status date set at completion.
- Not Total Revenue: Missed revenue is the work that did not get done, so it does not overlap with completed revenue on the Revenue Trend Widget.
- Trend use: Use this chart to confirm whether process or weather changes are actually moving the missed-job number.
