The Job detail view is the best place to review the whole story around one job before you change anything. It brings the live job fields together with notes, images, schedule information, the linked customer, transactions, invoices, and activity history.

Top-Level View

  • Balance: Shows the live financial position for the job.
  • Times Completed and Times Missed: Useful for understanding the real history of the work before speaking to the customer or changing the schedule.
  • Edit: Opens the job popup when the record is still editable.
  • Go to: Lets you jump deeper into the linked record shown on the active tab.

Details Tab

  • Job Details: Reference, status, duration, flags, service, round, and business context.
  • Customer: Shows who the job belongs to and the usual customer details without leaving the job.
  • Job Address: Only stands out as its own section when the job address is different from the stored customer address.
  • Dates and Schedule: Due date, next due, last done, due time, and the schedule summary all sit together here.
  • Pricing and Opening Balance: Lets you see not just the active price but also the extra price fields that drive future charging.
  • Notes and Images: Both appear on the detail tab so the operational context stays close to the job.

Other Tabs

  • Customer: Opens the linked customer information inside the same flow. This is useful when you need to confirm the wider customer record without abandoning the job.
  • Transactions: Shows ledger activity tied to the job. There is also a create-transaction action here when the job is still editable.
  • Invoices: Shows invoice information that relates back to the job.
  • Activity: Useful when you need an audit trail of what changed and when.

Warnings You May See

  • Transferred job warning: The job has been moved to another business and can no longer be edited here.
  • Transferred customer warning: The job may still be visible historically, but the linked customer is now owned elsewhere.

When This View Is Most Useful

  • Before editing: Check the schedule, notes, balance, and recent activity first so you do not make a blind change.
  • Before creating a transaction: Confirm you are attaching it to the right customer, service, and address context.
  • Before moving work elsewhere: Check whether the job is already on a worksheet, already transferred, or carrying special notes that need to follow it.
