Branding and Business Details

How to manage business wording, address details, contact information, address lookup, and logo branding.

Work Planner TeamApril 12, 2026

This part of Organisation Information covers the wording your team sees in the app, the contact details customers may see on documents, and the logo and address data Work Planner reuses elsewhere.

Terminology

  • What do you call a collection of jobs? choose one of the built-in terms such as Round, Zone, Area, Region, Patch, Catchment, or Route when one of those matches how your business already talks.
  • Custom Term: only appears when you pick Other. Use it when none of the built-in labels fit. Whatever you enter here becomes the wording used around the planner, rounds, and related screens for this business.

Company Address And Contact Fields

  • Find Address: opens the address lookup popup and fills the main address lines for you. This is the quickest way to store both the visible address and the hidden geocode behind it.
  • Address Line 1, 2, and 3: the physical business address. Line 3 is there when you need an extra building, estate, or department line, but it can be left empty.
  • Town, County, and Postcode: complete the postal address exactly as you want it to appear on documents and other branded output.
  • Website: the public website you want associated with this business.
  • Telephone: the main phone number customers should use when they need to contact the business.
  • Fax: optional legacy contact detail. Leave it blank if your business does not use fax.
  • Email: the business email address. This is worth keeping current because other communication and integration flows can reuse it.

If you use Find Address, Work Planner stores the geocode that goes with the selected result. If you later type over the address manually without choosing a fresh address result, that saved geocode is cleared so route and map-based tools do not keep using an outdated location.

Branding

  • Logo upload: add a JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF logo up to 2 MB. This is the image Work Planner uses for branded business surfaces tied to organisation settings.
  • Remove logo: if a logo is already there, removing it clears the stored file for this business instead of leaving an old image behind.

What Changes Elsewhere

  • Planner wording: your terminology choice changes how round-style collections are labelled in the tenant app.
  • Documents and templates: address details and logo are the business identity most people expect to see again on branded output.
  • Integrations: company email and organisation details are also useful when connecting services that need business context.
