Removing a Team Member
How the Team screen removes a teammate from one business, what the confirmation means, and what removal does not do.
The remove button on a team-member row is for business access removal, not whole-account deletion. Use it when somebody should no longer be able to work in the business shown on that row.
What The Confirmation Means
The confirmation names both the teammate and the business. That wording matters because the action only targets that business assignment. It is the right choice when somebody still needs access somewhere else but should not stay attached to this business anymore.
What Happens After Confirming
- Business access removed: the user is detached from the business on that row.
- Business-scoped role cleared: their role and related permissions for that business are removed with the membership.
- Other businesses untouched: if the same person belongs to other businesses, those memberships remain in place.
What This Action Does Not Do
- Does not delete the user account: the person still exists as a user in Work Planner.
- Does not remove your own row: the Team screen does not offer the remove action on the current signed-in user row.
- Does not clear pending invitations: invitation rows are handled separately from existing team members.
