Cleaner Planner Import Flow

How to upload a Cleaner Planner export, choose the business, and start the import safely.

Work Planner TeamApril 12, 2026

The Cleaner Planner import page is where you choose the destination business, upload the export file, and start the import. Everything on this screen is there to make sure the data lands in the correct business and in the correct format.

Fields And Controls On The Page

  • Business: appears when you have more than one selected business. Choose the business that should receive the imported data. The import is tenant-scoped, so picking the wrong business means the data will land in the wrong place.
  • Upload File: the upload area only accepts the Cleaner Planner export format expected by this flow.
  • Help text: tells you the file should be a ZIP export and reminds you about the 50MB maximum size.
  • Upload & Import: starts the import once a file and business are in place.
  • Cancel: returns you to Settings before the import starts.

What File To Use

This flow expects a ZIP file exported from Cleaner Planner. If you try to use the wrong file type, Work Planner will stop the import before it starts.

What Happens After You Start

Once you click Upload & Import, the file is uploaded for the selected business and the page switches into progress mode. From that point onward, the summary and progress messages are handled by the import progress part of the screen.
