GoCardless Integration Screen
How the GoCardless integration screen shows connection status, verification, customer sync information, and Direct Debit actions.
This screen is where you manage the live GoCardless connection for one business. It shows whether the business is connected, whether GoCardless has finished verifying the account, when customers were last synced, and which Direct Debit tools are ready to use.
If The Business Is Not Connected Yet
- Status: shows Not connected.
- Benefits: explains what the connection is for, including recurring payments, lower admin time, retries, and payment status updates.
- Connect GoCardless: starts the OAuth connection flow for the selected business.
If The Business Is Already Connected
- Status: confirms the connection is live.
- Account verification: shows whether GoCardless has verified the account. This matters because some Direct Debit actions are blocked until verification is complete.
- Action: appears when verification is still incomplete and sends you to the GoCardless verification page.
- Note: appears when the account is in review so you know setup is still waiting on GoCardless.
- Organisation ID: the GoCardless organisation reference stored against this business.
- Connected: the date the connection was made.
- Last customer sync: the last time Work Planner pulled matching GoCardless customer information into this business.
Success+ And Protect+
Success+ is the GoCardless retry service. If it is enabled in the GoCardless dashboard, failed collections can be retried automatically and Work Planner can show retry information back on debts.
Protect+ is the GoCardless fraud-protection service. If it blocks a mandate setup, Work Planner can show the block reason during the Direct Debit journey. Both sections include a button to open the GoCardless dashboard because these features are configured there, not inside Work Planner.
Actions At The Bottom Of The Screen
- View customers: opens the customer area filtered to GoCardless-linked records.
- Sync customers: opens the customer sync popup so you can match or import GoCardless customers by email address.
- Disconnect: opens the disconnect confirmation popup before the connection is turned off.
