My WebsiteBlog
Blog Manager
How the Website blog area is laid out, what each tab is for, and where to go to manage posts, settings, terms, and media.
Open the Blog tab in My Website to manage the content shown on the public blog. This area keeps posts, archive settings, categories, tags, and blog-specific media together so you can work on publishing without leaving the website section.
What Each Tab Does
- Posts: the main list of blog posts, with the New post button, search, status badges, and quick access to edit or delete.
- Settings: the archive page title, archive description, and how many posts appear on each archive page.
- Categories: the broader topic groups you assign to posts.
- Tags: the smaller labels used for more specific grouping.
- Media: the image library for featured images and content-builder images used in blog posts.
A Small Detail That Matters
The blog archive page itself still belongs to the website page structure. Its navigation label, visibility, order, and page SEO defaults are controlled from the Pages tab, not from the blog manager.
How Most Teams Use It
- Start in Settings: settle the archive title and how many posts to show per page.
- Set up categories and tags: this makes new posts easier to organise properly.
- Upload blog media: add featured images and reusable article images before drafting several posts.
- Write posts last: once the structure is in place, the post editor is quicker to work through.
