Active Jobs Card

What the Active Jobs card measures and how to use it as a workload headline on the Dashboard.

Work Planner TeamApril 12, 2026

The Active Jobs card is the simplest workload number on the Dashboard. It shows how many jobs currently sit in the Active status across the selected businesses.

What It Counts

  • Status-based: The card is driven by job status, not by due dates or revenue.
  • Current snapshot: It reflects the live number of active jobs at the moment you are viewing the Dashboard.
  • Business-sensitive: Changing the business filter changes the count. The date range does not.

When It Helps

  • Workload headline: Useful when you want the quickest sense of how much live work the business is carrying.
  • Status balance: Compare it mentally with Jobs by Status when you want to see whether most work is active or sitting elsewhere.
