Upcoming Jobs Card

What the Upcoming Jobs card counts and how it differs from the separate Upcoming Scheduled Jobs table.

Work Planner TeamApril 12, 2026

The Upcoming Jobs card is the short-range workload signal on the Dashboard. It tells you how many active jobs are due soon, without making you open the planner or Jobs list first.

What It Counts

  • Active jobs only: The card checks active jobs rather than every status.
  • Next 7 days: It looks from today into the next week.
  • Due or Next Due: A job can count through either date field depending on how its schedule is set up.

What It Does Not Do

  • Not the same as the table: The separate Upcoming Scheduled Jobs widget shows example rows. This card is just the headline count.
  • Not date-range reporting: Like other live workload cards, it does not turn into a historic count when you change the Dashboard date range.
