Team Today

How Team › Today shows how each person's day is going, with their jobs done, missed and left, who's off, and today's work on a map.

Work Planner Team19 October 2026

Team › Today shows how everyone's day is going, as it happens. Open it from Work › Team: it's the first tab for owners and admins, beside Availability. It lists each person in your team with the work on their worksheets for today, and puts today's stops on a map. It's for businesses with more than one person; on your own, it asks you to add your team.

The Summary

  • People: How many are working, haven't started, have finished, have no work today, or are off.
  • Jobs: Today's jobs done, missed and still to do, and how many were left over from an earlier day.
  • Value: What today's work is worth and how much of it is done. It only shows if your role includes View Prices and Balances.
  • Unassigned today: Jobs due today that aren't on anyone's worksheet yet. Click it to open the planner and give them out.

Each Person

  • Status: Working once they've marked a job, Not started while today's work is untouched, Finished with the time they marked their last job, No work today, or Off today.
  • Off today: A whole day of approved holiday, sick or other time off, a bank holiday your business keeps, or a day they don't work. A half day or a request still waiting for approval doesn't count. Someone else's sick or other time off just says Off, unless your role can manage time off. See Team Availability.
  • Off with work: If someone who's off still has work for today, their card says so, such as Off today · 3 jobs assigned, and stays in the list so you can move the work to someone else.
  • Progress: How many of today's jobs they've marked, and what they're worth when you can see prices.
  • Last and next: When they marked their last job and where it was, and the next stop on their worksheet.
  • Open worksheet: Opens their worksheet, if your role can see it.
  • Show on map: Takes the map to their stops and fades everyone else's. Show everyone brings the rest back.

People with no work today, and people who are off with nothing to do, are folded away underneath, so the people out working come first. With more than one business selected, the business filter narrows the board to one, and the person filter shows just one person.

The Map

The map shows today's stops for everyone, ringed in each person's colour: still to do, done or missed, with each person's next stop drawn larger. Click a stop to see whose it is and where, and to open the worksheet. On a phone, switch between List and Map at the top. Stops whose address can't be placed are left off the map and counted underneath it. If the map can't be shown on your device, the board shows the list on its own and says so.

Where Everyone Is

If your business has location sharing on, each person who shares has a marker on the map in their colour, with the route they've taken today, and their card says when they were last seen, such as Live · seen 10:28. A marker turns grey after 15 minutes without a new location. Cards also say Not sharing, Not asked yet or Location sharing off. Someone who can change the business's settings turns it on from Location sharing on this screen. See Turning On Team Location Sharing.

What Counts as Today's Work

A person's work for today is the jobs on their worksheets that are due today, anything left over from an earlier day that they haven't marked yet, and every job they've marked today. Work due on another day stays off the board, even when it's on the same worksheet.

Who Can See It

Anyone whose role includes View the Team's Day and Locations, which owners and admins have. It also shows them where people are when they share their location. You can give it to other roles, but never to the Worker role. See Editing a Role.

When Someone Marks a Job

The board keeps itself up to date: when someone marks a job, a worksheet or a job changes, or someone's time off changes, it shows within a few seconds without you reloading.
