How the quote image viewer popup works and when to use it instead of relying on thumbnails.
The image viewer popup is the simple full-size preview used when a quote thumbnail is too small to check properly.
Where It Opens From
- Quote edit popup: Click an existing image thumbnail to preview it at a larger size.
- Quote detail view: Click an image in the images section to open the same larger preview.
What The Popup Is For
- Check the full photo: This is the quickest way to confirm the image shows the right access point, surface condition, or site issue.
- Review before sending or confirming: A larger preview helps you catch the wrong image before the quote is locked into later workflow steps.
What The Popup Does Not Do
- No editing tools: The popup does not crop, rotate, or annotate the image.
- No delete action inside the preview: If the file needs removing, go back to the edit popup and use the delete button on the image thumbnail there.
- No separate save step: Opening and closing the image viewer does not change the quote.
