Creating a Gallery

How to create a gallery, choose the right images, and control the order they appear in on the website.

Work Planner TeamApril 13, 2026

Open My Website, switch to Galleries, and click New Gallery. A gallery is an ordered group of images that you can reuse on the home page or on custom pages.

Fields And Sections In The Popup

  • Gallery name: the internal label you will choose later from page settings. Name it in a way that makes sense when you come back to it, such as Front Page Spring Work or Commercial Before and After.
  • Selected images: the images currently included in the gallery, shown in the exact order they will be saved.
  • Upload new images: the upload area for adding fresh images without leaving the popup. Uploaded images are also stored in the Website Media library for reuse elsewhere.

Building The Gallery

  • Choose at least one image: Work Planner will not save an empty gallery.
  • Use Move up and Move down: the order here becomes the order the gallery follows on the page.
  • Remove only affects this gallery: removing an image from the selected list does not delete it from the Website Media library.
  • Uploads are added automatically: when you upload a new image in this popup, it is added to the media library and selected for this gallery straight away.

What Happens After Save

  • The gallery appears in the Galleries tab: ready to open, edit, or attach to a page.
  • The gallery becomes available in page forms: the home page and custom pages can now choose it from their gallery field.
  • The image order is preserved: Work Planner stores the order so the public site follows the same sequence you set here.
