What the Received Quotes card counts and why it is a current queue number rather than a date-range report.
The Received Quotes card shows how many quotes are currently sitting in the Received status. Think of it as a live queue number for quote requests that still need attention.
What It Counts
- Received status only: The card counts quotes whose current status is Received.
- Current queue: It is a live snapshot, not a historic count for the chosen date range.
- Business-sensitive: The figure respects the Dashboard business filter.
When It Helps
- Sales workload: A rising number usually means quote follow-up or pricing work is waiting.
- Quick balance check: It is useful to compare against active work so you can see whether the team is mostly quoting or mostly delivering.
