Service Details

How to read the Service details popup, including website visibility, public description, business ownership, and dates.

Work Planner TeamApril 13, 2026

Open a service from the list when you want to inspect it without editing first. The details popup is the quickest way to confirm whether the service is visible on the website, what its public wording says, and which business owns it.

What the Popup Shows

  • Name: The saved service label.
  • Business: Appears on multi-business setups so you can see which business owns the service.
  • Color: Shows both the saved colour value and the swatch.
  • Website: Shows whether the service is visible on the website and what the public description says.
  • Dates: Displays created and updated dates so you can see how old the record is and whether it changed recently.

When To Use the Details View

  • Before editing: Useful for checking the current setup before you change anything.
  • After a change: Good for confirming that a recent edit saved the values you expected.
  • From selectors: Helpful when you want to confirm the service while you are in the middle of creating a job or quote.

Edit from the Popup

Use Edit in the top-right corner when the service record needs changing. After save, the popup reloads the latest data so you can see the updated result immediately.
