Template Colour Customiser Popup
How the template customiser popup works, what the primary colour changes, and how preview and reset behave.
Press Customise on a template row in Website Templates to open the colour customiser popup. This popup changes the saved main colour for one template without forcing you to switch away from the current template first.
What The Popup Contains
- Primary color: a colour picker for the main accent colour of that template.
- Preview card: a small visual mock-up that updates with the selected colour.
- Reset to default: removes the saved override and returns that template to its original colour.
- Preview: opens a live preview using the chosen colour.
- Done: closes the popup.
What Gets Remembered
The chosen colour is remembered for that specific template. If you switch to another template in Website Templates and later come back, the saved colour for the first template is still there.
What The Preview Is For
The built-in preview card is useful for a quick visual check, but the real Preview button is the safer way to judge whether the colour works across a full page layout, especially once you already have content saved in Website Pages List.
