Website Pages List
How the Pages tab is organised, how system and custom pages differ, and how to find the page you need.
Open the Pages tab in My Website to manage every page visitors can open on the public website. This list shows the built-in pages Work Planner creates for you as well as any custom pages you add yourself.
What You Are Looking At
- System pages: these are the built-in pages such as the home page, contact page, request quote page, payment options page, and the blog page when blogging is enabled. You edit these pages, but you do not create or delete them yourself.
- Custom pages: these are the extra pages you add for your own site, such as About Us, Commercial Work, or Areas We Cover.
- Path: this is the public URL path. The home page shows as
/. Other pages show the slug that visitors will open. - Shown or Hidden: this only controls whether the page appears in the website navigation. A hidden page can still be live if it stays enabled.
- Enabled or Disabled: this controls whether the page itself is available on the public site.
Finding The Right Page
Use Search pages to find a page by title, slug, navigation label, or built-in page key. This is useful once the site has a mix of public pages, landing pages, and system pages.
What You Can Do From Here
- New Page: opens the popup for creating a custom page.
- Open a row: opens that page so you can review the details, edit it, or delete it if it is a custom page.
- Check navigation order: use the list to spot pages that are showing in the wrong place in the public menu before you open them to change the order.
What Changes Here Affect
The choices you make on each page feed straight into the public website. Navigation labels appear in the site menu, enabled pages become available to visitors, disabled pages stop serving publicly, and SEO fields on the page can override the website-wide defaults from the Overview tab.
