Updating a Website Enquiry Status

How the enquiry status dropdown works and when to move an enquiry between New, Read, and Archived.

Work Planner TeamApril 13, 2026

Each enquiry card in Website Enquiries includes a status dropdown so you can track whether a website lead is still fresh, already reviewed, or no longer active.

Status Choices

  • New: leave the enquiry here while it still needs first review or a first response.
  • Read: useful once somebody has checked the message and the enquiry is in progress.
  • Archived: move old or completed enquiries here when they no longer need day-to-day attention.

What The Change Does

Changing the dropdown updates the saved enquiry record immediately. It does not send a message to the customer by itself, and it does not create a customer record automatically, so if the lead is turning into real work you still need to do that separately in Creating a Customer.
