Revenue and Financial Summary Cards
What the Dashboard money cards mean, including revenue, tips, debt, net cash flow, and pending payments.
These are the cards most people read first when they open the Dashboard. They tell you how much money has come in, what is still owed, and whether anything is waiting on payment confirmation.
Total Revenue
- Total Revenue: This card shows completed charge revenue within the selected date range.
- Dynamic title: The heading changes with the selected range, such as This Week, Last Month, or All Time.
- Comparison badge: When the range is one of the supported quick periods, Work Planner shows a comparison against the previous matching period.
Total Tips
- Total Tips: Tips are shown separately from normal revenue.
- Why that matters: This helps you see extra gratuity income without confusing it with the charge totals that drive customer balances.
Outstanding Debt
- Outstanding Debt: This is the current unpaid amount across jobs that are still treated as live debt.
- Use it for: A quick sense check of how much money is still outstanding before you go deeper into debts or invoicing work.
Net Cash Flow and Pending Payments
- Net Cash Flow: This is net payments minus refunds and expenses for the selected date range.
- Pending Payments: These are payments that exist but are still waiting on confirmation from a payment provider, so they are not fully settled yet.
- Read them together: A healthy net cash flow with a large pending-payments card means money is moving, but some of it has not finished clearing yet.
