Quote Quick-Process Popup
How the planner quote quick-process popup handles service pricing, sending, confirming, and declining a quote.
The quote quick-process popup is the planner shortcut for moving a quote forward without opening the full quote screen. It changes what it shows based on the quote status, so the same popup can help with sending, confirming, or declining.
Quote Summary
- Status: Shows whether the quote is received, pending, sent, confirmed, or declined.
- Customer: Helps you confirm you are processing the right quote before changing anything.
- Jobs: Shows whether the quote already has linked jobs.
- Due Date and Current Total: Gives the scheduling and value context without leaving the planner.
When the Quote Is Ready to Send
- Select Services: Use this when the quote has no services yet or needs service changes before sending.
- Pricing Type: Choose Standard for a fixed service price or Hourly Per Person when the quote needs a rate and time-based calculation.
- Rate / Price: This is the charge for that service line.
- Duration and People: These appear for hourly-per-person services because Work Planner needs both the time and the number of people to calculate the line total.
- Total panel: The popup recalculates subtotal, VAT, and total so you can see the real quote value before sending.
When the Quote Is Sent
- Create One Job Per Service: Use this when each service should become its own job after confirmation.
- Create One Combined Job: Use this when the quote should become one job carrying the combined value. This option is unavailable when the quote contains hourly-per-person services.
- Decline Quote: Marks the sent quote as declined directly from the popup.
- Confirm Quote: Confirms the quote and creates the customer and job record or records based on the option you chose.
What to Watch For
- No services attached: The popup warns you and will not send the quote until at least one service exists.
- Hourly services: These force separate jobs on confirmation because the pricing depends on per-service timing detail.
- Planner refresh: After a successful change, the planner reloads so the quote status and placement stay current.
