Business Selection
Business Limits and Locked Businesses
What locked businesses mean, how business limits are shown on the selection screen, and when Work Planner sends you to upgrade or add a bolt-on.
The business selection screen does more than list your businesses. It also shows how your current plan or bolt-ons affect which businesses stay available.
Locked Businesses
- Upgrade to access label: appears on a business row when that business is currently outside the allowed business limit.
- Cannot be selected: locked businesses are faded and cannot be ticked into the current session.
- Edit button hidden: once a business is locked, the normal edit action is no longer available from that row.
Count Badges
Owned businesses can show a count badge such as 2/3. That is a quick way to see how many of your owned businesses are currently sitting inside the allowance for the account.
Create New Business Card
- Create Business: appears when you still have room to add another business.
- Upgrade / Add Business: appears instead when the business limit has been reached and Work Planner knows where to send you for more capacity.
- Limit message: if there is no direct upgrade link available, the card still explains that the business limit has been reached.
What Usually Unlocks More Businesses
- Plan changes: moving to a plan with more business capacity can unlock businesses again.
- Business bolt-ons: adding a business bolt-on increases the allowance without requiring a full plan change.
- Restoring capacity: if a business or business bolt-on was previously cancelled, restoring it can also change what is locked.
