Reordering Jobs in a Round

How to drag jobs into the right order inside a round and what the reorder popup options do.

Use Reorder jobs from the round row when the round is right but the stop order is wrong. The popup only appears once the round already has jobs in it.

What The Popup Shows

  • Drag list: Each job appears as a draggable row. Move jobs up or down until the route matches the order you want the team to work in.
  • Show customer names: Turn this on when the address alone is not enough to tell similar stops apart.
  • Show suspended jobs: Suspended jobs are hidden by default so they do not get in the way of the live running order. Turn this on only when you need to account for them deliberately.

What Save Order Changes

  • Stores the round order: The saved list becomes the round's internal job order.
  • Feeds planning views: Planner grouping uses that stored round order when it is displaying jobs by round.
  • Leaves dates alone: Reordering does not move due dates or reschedule jobs.
  • Leaves worksheet order alone: If work is already on a worksheet, changing the round order does not rewrite the worksheet sequence for you.

A Practical Way To Use It

Do the reorder after the round has settled into roughly the right membership. If you are still moving jobs in and out constantly, you will end up redoing the route order more often than necessary.
